C9 HYDROGENATED PETROLEUM RESINS

C9 hydrogenaed petroleum resin  is water white resin. C9 hydrogenaed petroleum resin , The major usages are tackifier for hot melt adhesive(HMA), hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive(HMPSA) because of its good heat resistance and good compatibility with base polymers such as ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA),  Styrene-Butadiene-Styene block copolymer(SBS),Styrene-Isoprene-Styene block copolymer(SIS).

C5 Hydrogenated Petroleum Resin/C5 Water white resin


C5 hydrogenaed petroleum resin ,its raw materials are C5 fraction which is pyrolysis by the ethylene.
C5 hydrogenated petroleum resin is a C5 component of the diene and single-ene by cationic polymerization.
Appearance: granular solid, white or yellowish Compatibility: Easily dissoved in organic solvents such as benzene and toluene etc; Also could be dissoved in water;.
Density is around 1.0., non-toxic, odorless, non-inflammable and non-explosive.
Application:
A.C5 hydrogenated petroleum resin has good viscosity increases, compatibility, thermal stability and light stability, and can improve the adhesiveness of the adhesive properties, is essential for many adhesive tackifying components. Widely used in hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive and other adhesive industries.
B.It is applicable for paint addictives, which can enhance the tenacity, hardness and adhesive force of dope and form smooth paint surface, and could keep its stability in different temperatures of seasons.
C.As the additives of Medical containers and packaging materials(Such as blood storage bags, packaging bags of liquid drugs, infusion tubes, etc.) , could improve their heat resistance, transparency and flexibility. It is also used in rubber, plastics, optical recording materials
D. Other applications: Construction of the structure , decoration, automobile assembly, tires, packaging, bookbinding, hygiene products, shoes, hot-melt of traffic paint, colored asphalt and other industries. 


Copolymerized hydrocarbon Resins

59C Series Copolymerized hydrocarbon Resins  are  thermoplastic resins, C5, C9 fraction of petroleum by-product of decomposition with processing pre-treatment, polymerization and distillation.
59C Series Copolymerized hydrocarbon Resins have advantages both of C5 and C9 petroleum resins:
Low acid value, good miscibility, waterproof, ethanol resistance and chemical resistance and other characteristics of acid resistance, chemical stability in acid-bases, adjustment in viscosity, good thermal stability, weather resistance and light aging resistance because of non-polar groups in its structure.
59C Series Copolymerized hydrocarbon Resins has good solubility in organic solvents especially in oil solvent, as well as good compatibility with other resins. It also has brittle, increasing viscosity, cohesiveness and plasticity.
Generally, they are not used alone, but used as accelerant , regulator and modifier together with other resins.
Applications:
A.   59C Series Copolymerized hydrocarbon Resins can be used in hot melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesive and so on in adhesives industry . In adhesives Industry, 59C Series Copolymerized hydrocarbon Resins can not only provide better initial cohesiveness, but can also be used like rosin resins to adjust and improve viscosity durability and strength of mixture of glue and resins.
B.   Especially in radial tire with the effects of not only increasing adhesion between particles but also improving adhesion between particles and cord;

C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin is a petroleum by-product of pyrolysis C9 fraction which is produced by pre-treatment, polymerization and distillation processes. It is not a high polymer but a low polymer molecular weight between 300-3000.

Generally, C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin is not used alone, but as promoters, regulators, modifiers used with other resin.
Applications:
A. Paints Industry: In paint industry mainly use the high softening point of C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin which can increase the gloss of paint and improve the adhesion, the hardness and the resistance ability of ac id and alkali.
B. Tire and Rubber Industry:
Natural rubber particles, and little affect on rubber vulcanization. Adding in rubber and tires, C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin can increase the adhesion and the reinforcement and can also play as softener.
C. Adhesives Industry:
C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin  has good adhesion, added in the process of producing adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives can improve the adhesive bond strength, acid resistance, alkali resistance and water resistance, and also can reduce production costs effectively.
D. Ink Industry:
In ink industry, mainly use the high softening point of C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin which can reach the effect of show color, quick-drying and brightening and improve printing performance, etc.
F. others, C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin has unsaturated certain characteristic, can be used as paper glue, plastic modifier etc

C5 aliphatic hydrocarbon resin is Light colored and transparent granule
Applied in tyre rubber compounding, which have an excellent compatibility with a wide variety of elastomers including natural rubber (NR), synthetic rubber, polyethylene, polypropylene, Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene (SIS), Styrene-ethylene-butadiene-Styrene (SEBS) and Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA), and also have a good compatibility with the natural sticky resins (such as terpene, rosin and thereof derivatives). Additionally, the product can be used in rubber compounding as tackifier agent, reinforcement agent, softening agent as well as the filling agent, etc.
